GIVEAWAY- my blog’s 2nd birthday! Closes 17/5/18

blog birthday giveaway

I cannot believe I’ve been writing here for 2 years now! I have loved writing this blog and even more, I’ve loved the conversations I’ve had with readers and also being able to help people.

Now, to celebrate this occasion I have put together a little pack of goodies to give away to one lucky reader!

The prize consists of a £15 Amazon voucher, a gorgeous notebook with the phrase “You Got This!” on it and 2 kits from Pukka. I have been sent these sets by Pukka Herbs to review and they very kindly sent some extra over for me to give away to one lucky reader!

blog giveaway goodies

The theory behind me creating this little pack is that you can sit and have a lovely cup of tea while you write your money plans in your notebook. I have included the £15 to spend on Amazon because if you are on a money journey, extra money to spend on treats is always appreciated!

I would love for you to let me know what you want to me to write about and cover in future blog posts. What would be useful, interesting? What do you want to know about me?

giveaway

There is only one mandatory entry method – scroll down to the bottom of the page and leave me a comment answering the question: what content would you like to see me write about next? (If you don’t have a website you can leave this bit blank).

There are also other optional ways to gain more entries, just complete any or all of the entries in the widget below. There is even the chance to come back every day for a free entry , giving you more chances to win this fab prize!

Budget recipes with how best to find ingredients/use leftovers/substitution options.
Also tips for presents: how can i find and wrap a cheap present in a way that looks better quality so i don’t offend my friends

  2. Kai Briscoe says:

I always find that the environmentally friendly or ethical options are more expensive. I want to buy ethically and environmentally friendly, and am okay to spend extra when it is worth it, but ways to avoid excessive prices on this would be helpful.

So yeah, ways to buy, and live, as ethically and environmentally friendly as possible. Obviously buy secondhand and reduce consumption. Maybe some discussion of clothes brands or toiletries too?

Hi! I have stumbled across your blog through Facebook. I think this is the perfect blog for where I am in life right now. I have read some of the frugal tips and meal plans. What I would love to see is even more ways to make extra pennies and inspiration on how to save efficiently. I am a new mum and my maternity pay has left us trying to readjust or budget so I am so grateful for you tips! Thank you very much! Here’s to many more blog birthdays!

I’d be interested in what apps you’d most recommend for saving. Especially ones that encourage reduction of waste (kind of gumtree style/ leftover food sharing apps). There are so many out there but it would be handy to know which are genuine

Happy birthday! I’m trying to be more environmentally conscious, while saving money at the same time, so would love to hear your thoughts on anything eco friendly that you use that saves money

Great blog! How about a challenge that you do, but also the readers could do as well? I’m thinking about maybe spending NO money for a week for example. (Obviously rent/mortgage/bills/child and pet essentials excluded.)
Instead of buying more food, use whatever’s in the cupboard. No random purchases that aren’t essential. Walk instead of driving……
Just not buying a coffee on the way to work would save some people a fortune. All those clothes we buy but never wear.
    Would definitely be interesting 😊
